Beleaguered Red Sox closer Heathcliff Slocumb blew his fourth save in 10 opportunities, giving the Milwaukee Brewers a 6-4 win.

Coming on to finish the eighth, Slocumb served up an RBI single to Jeff Husson to tie it at 4-4. In the ninth, Milwaukee’s Mike Matheny singled and two outs later Jeff Cirillo drilled an 0-2 pitch for a two-run homer.

It was he Red Sox’ fourth straight loss.
