As happened a few times before and since, the Montreal Canadiens ended Boston’s NHL season with a machine-like efficiency. The Habs knocked off the Bruins, 5-1, to win the Stanley Cup Finals in five games.

Montreal held the Bruins to two goals over the three games played at the Forum.
