Boston Celtics

Dec. 15, 2007

A 104-82 thrashing of the Milwaukee Bucks gave the Celtics their 12th home win without a loss.

The first Celtics team to start 12-0 at home? The 1983-84 Larry Bird-Robert Parish-Kevin McHale Celtics.

That team went on to win the NBA championship, too.

The win over Milwaukee also brought the 2007-08 Celtics to 19-2 overall. The last time Boston achieved that feat was in 1963-64.

That club extended its record to 20-2 and, of course, was in the midst of winning eight straight championships, a run that began in 1958-59.

The 2007-08 Celtics also made it to 20-2. And won a championship.
