Bruins forward Dave Reid received some alarming news while staying in his hometown, Ajax, Ontario. His store, All-Pro Sports Collectibles, was burglarized.

Like most players, Reid went home to wait out the NHL player strike, so was around for an early-morning phone call from police. Burglars shattered his store's front window and proceeded to steal cards that, in total, were valued at $5,000-$6,000.

Apparently other shops in the vicinity of Reid's had also been burglarized.
