A week after nearly throwing a no-hitter in Oakland, Curt Schilling by the Colorado Rockies at Fenway Park in a 12-2 rout.

Schilling worked five innings and allowed five earned runs on nine hits, dropping his record to 6-3.

It's unlikely any of the 36,808 on hand were thinking that the Red Sox would go on to sweep the Rockies in the World Series.
