A Red Sox pitcher by the name of Sid Hudson outpitched a Hall of Famer by the name of Bob Feller, and even scored a run in a 3-1 win, his second win with the Red Sox after being shipped to Boston from the Washington Senators.

His first Red Sox win was also against the Indians. He beat another Hall of Famer, Bob Lemon, 2-1.

Hudson singled in the third and eventually scored on Billy Goodman's single.

Hudson finished 1952 10-13 overall, 7-9 for Boston.
