Sept. 2, 2022 The Boston Patriots opened their season last night at BU (old Braves, current Nickerson) Field. A meager crowd of 8,783 seeing the Buffalo Bills take a 7-6 win on a quarterback sneak by Al Dorow early in the fourth quarter. The game’s only touchdown drive began with Bills linebacker Archie Matsos picked off a pass by Pats QB Babe Parilli.
