Jan. 4, 1983 The Bruins announced that Terry O’Reilly would miss the remainder of the season after having two surgical procedures on his left knee. There was no word as to whether O’Reilly hopped out of bed and tangled with the surgeon after learning that his season was over. O’Reilly’s season ended as it began – with pure frustration. At the 1962 National Doubles Championships, Dennis Ralston and Chuck McKinley defeated Boro Jovanovic and Nikola Pilic in a semifinal match.
