August 19, 1977 Does anyone out there remember the first big-league franchise Bob Kraft ever owned? That would be the Boston Lobsters, of World Team Tennis. Kraft resurrected the moribund franchise, born as the Philadelphia Freedoms in 1974. Elton John fans surely recall the song of the same name; Sir Elton recorded in as a favor to his pal, Billie Jean King, a co-founder of the team.
